I’m looking at purchasing a copy of Nikon Camera Control software for running tethered shooting in studio and think I have found the cheapest source for the latest version. I’ve messed with the trial versions previously and found it fun but soon will be integrating the laptop as a real tool for studio work to give instant high res feedback to models, creative directors or direct clients as to how their shoots are appearing on file. As the files pass from the D3 to the laptop hard drive via this software, they then get grabbed immediately by Adobe Lightroom for bulk edits, keywording on the fly and rating mid shoot.

Today I printed some recent fashion shots for the first time at a large scale, both as a 30x20inch format and I have to say, I’m wicked happy with the results. Next step will be working out framing options and then you ought to expect to see print sales of the alternative/gothic genre work through Voodoo Lulu.  I’m just started now on designing the front window inserts for the shop as well for branding and can’t wait to have those printed as well. Huge thanks to the wonderful crew at Digilab for their consistently PERFECT prints!  I won’t trust my prints to any other lab.
