Online journalism course (for the music industry)

by on Sep.17, 2009, under journalism

Letitia of Metal As Fuck zine’s Music Journalism 101 online course is a very good read not only to the journalists working in the industry but also to the photographers working beside them in this industry. I just finished reading one of the posts for this course and it reminded me of all the great advice Deb Bela (then Deb Aldred) gave me to help me when I did my first music interview way back in 1999 with Jeff Martin (then still with The Tea Party).
The course is free and those keen on the metal scene will really like the interviews Letitia does with some of the biggest names in metal.

seriously September…

With the move to Brunswick St about complete, things have gotten very busy. The to-do list is miles long but it seems as though the big move will bring enough business to keep me in Australia….
At the very least, I’ll soon have an entire shopfront with very high foot traffic entirely covered with 72inch high prints.
The regular fashion shoots for Voodoo Lulu will soon become part of the Valley’s landscape.
If you hadn’t kept up recently, I’m now based in 240 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley, with my studio in the front of Voodoo Lulu.
